The Inspiration Gift portal is live!
We’ve already collected over $8,000 for nonprofits in just the first three days! We are off to a good start. We try to catch any typos or issues during testing, but if you see something that looks off on the form or the receipt, please let me know so I can correct it.
New FAQs This Week
I’ve put together two FAQ posts this week to help with some common questions about both the Fox21 sign up process and Inspiration Gifts. Apologies to those of you who were caught off guard by the media sign ups last week. The spots go quickly! If you did not attend or watch the Tips and Tricks workshop, that is also a great place to get information for nonprofits participating for the first time or after an absence. If there is a question I didn’t cover in the posts, let me know, as you are probably not the only one asking it!

Media Opportunities
We submit all nonprofits for media opportunities presented to us by local outlets. KRCC has selected the five nonprofits they are going to feature this campaign. All nonprofits have been notified of their selection. Congratulations! We will continue to submit you for opportunities as they arise.
Grant Update
Our partners at El Pomar and Bloom have received the Class of 2026 list. They will be meeting this fall to decide on grant selections, and you will be notified before the campaign goes live if you have been selected. El Pomar awards $1,500 grants and Bloom awards $1,000 grants.
You have all already been submitted for both. Please do not solicit Inspiration Gifts from these foundations for the campaign. Other fundraising or grants from them are still allowed, per their normal criteria.

Andrea and her colleagues from Colorado College, UCCS, and Pikes Peak State College have spent a lot of time thinking through the best ways to connect local colleges with local nonprofits, and they are excited to share their ideas with you. This is a relationship that could have a real impact on our sector, so I encourage you to attend and get involved.
After the presentation, you will have the chance to meet one on one with program leaders from each college if you want to explore what it takes to prepare for and support an intern from their programs.
