Reading the year tags
Every card carries six tags, ’21 through ’26. A solid tag is a year that organization was in the campaign and went through review. Orange is the current class. Reviews reflect a nonprofit’s status at that time.
Before you recommend a grant
Tap an EIN to copy it. Confirm current tax exempt status through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search, since status can change after our review. Many organizations file under a legal name that differs from the name you know.
