THANK YOU TO
for sponsoring the See Art, Make Art category. The Tiemens Foundation believes Arts, Culture and Education have a powerful way of getting people to think differently, to unleash passions, to celebrate diversity...indeed to Stretch Minds.
Cottonwood’s mission is to engage the Pikes Peak Region in art through learning, exhibits, and performances while hosting a diverse and creative community of workspaces for artists. Our vision is to create an environment for a thriving arts community, leaving a legacy of arts, culture, and beauty to future generations.
Downtown Ventures uses public art and engaging programs to support small business and enliven the heart of our city. With thought-provoking sculptures and murals, walking tours, Skate in the Park, First Friday art walks and more, we work to make our city center welcoming and inspiring for all. Our city and region thrive only if Downtown also thrives, and our programs benefit artists, entrepreneurs and residents regionwide.
We keep adults young and healthy through playing our musical instruments and socialization. Our lives are enriched by the mental and physical challenges of playing music, our interaction with each other, and in offering concerts to our community. Our bands and orchestras rehearse and perform 32 weeks a year! One of our members says ”NHBCOS challenges me to accomplish something and puts structure in my life.”
As the Springs’ resident dance company, we inspire creativity, resilience and community with our performances and classes. We love to perform and find joy in developing your dance groove. We welcome all ages and abilities to an array of classes, including Dance for Parkinson’s. We imaginatively combine dance with core academic subjects in our local schools. Dance with us!
