Ahavah Community Initiative connects people facing food insecurity due to financial struggles to locally farmed, regeneratively grown produce by offering donated memberships to a local CSA program. Memberships include a weekly bag of fresh vegetables along with discounted (or free) farm tours, classes, and events centered around healthy living and environmental consciousness.
All Breed Rescue & Training has been an integral part of the community since 1996. We ONLY rescue and rehabilitate LOCAL at-risk dogs who often have no options left. Our Best of the Springs winning training services give our foster dogs a new leash on life. Hundreds of other dogs from our community every year benefit from our relationship based training programs, many of whom utilizing free or reduced cost services.
Blackpackers aims to alleviate the financial pressures associated with outdoor education and adventure by offering free or subsidized outdoor activities to vulnerable communities. With Blackpackers, people of color and all others who are statistically underrepresented are able to enjoy outdoor experiences in multi-generational groups with little to no cost. Notably, our leadership reflects the community we serve.
It is the mission of Bryson’s Chase Foundation to raise funds for families with children in need of mental health care. We exist to help future generations build valuable coping mechanisms in order to avoid tragic and extreme alternatives such as substance abuse, criminal behavior, and suicide.
Through partnerships with educational entities and other organizations, establish and maintain vocational education courses and programs focused on skills training for the various trades within the construction industry, to promote the benefits of career opportunities in the construction industry to students, parents, influencers, and educators, and develop effective job placement platforms to connect students to industry.
Milton Foster Children's Fund (MFCF) provides unduplicated resources for foster children, ages 0-21, to give them a sense of normalcy in a situation that is anything but normal. Resources may include financial support for unmet needs and activities, life-skills workshops such as budgeting, self-care, and nutrition, and access to free clothing and accessories through The Hanger, a project within MFCF.
Catamount Institute outdoor programs with schools, after school, and during the summer show kids, they have the power to be leaders in their community and change the world. By connecting thousands of kids to the outdoors each year, we harness their natural sense of wonder & curiosity to help kids change how they see themselves, the world, & their role within it.
CEO provides immediate, effective, and comprehensive employment services exclusively to individuals who have recently returned home from incarceration. Our vision is that anyone with a criminal record has the preparation and support needed to find employment. We believe that everyone, regardless of their past, deserves the chance to shape a stronger future for themselves, their family, and their communities.
