The Justice Center provides access to justice through legal services for people living through vulnerable situations in the Pikes Peak Region. Our clinics include Wednesday phone Call-a-Lawyer, daily email Ask-a-Lawyer, and in person Meet-a-Lawyer. Through Find-a-Lawyer we provide free or reduced cost legal representation. Learn-from-Lawyers provides online educational tools for all.
Access to justice is not just a privilege – it’s a basic human right. Colorado ranks fifth worst in the nation for its number of attorneys available for free legal assistance to low-income people in civil cases. Lacking the tools or assistance to solve legal problems can lead to issues of safety and stability for families, evictions and uncertainty in housing, as well as strain on mental and physical health.
Volunteers and resources needed!
We need volunteers with social media, fundraising, and legal clinic support. Your time with us impacts our clients directly.

Each year, more than 70% of low-income households experience at least one civil legal problem and only 30% are represented by an attorney.
Help us change that!
“I sincerely do not believe I would have come out of such a torturous period of my life without the guidance, professionalism and wisdom provided by my attorney. The pro bono program saved my life.” — Anonymous Justice Center Pro Bono Client
