A group of volunteers dedicated to building and delivering bunk beds to children in need. A bed is a basic need for physical, emotional, and mental support that a child needs. We deliver beds to kids sleeping on the floor or unsafe conditions. This gives them self pride in owning their own bed, their own space.
We give hope to kids. Kids can’t control their environment. We deliver beds to kids sleeping on the floor or unsafe conditions. This gives them self pride in owning their own bed, their own space. Many of of these kids have never had a bed or their own bed. Most of us take it for granted to have a bed and get a good nights sleep, but there are kids in our town that don’t have that and we provide that to them.
SHP needs are simple: spreading awareness about bedlessness in our community and the good news that we can help fulfill that need, as well as volunteers to help us build and deliver beds.
2-3% of the kids in our community are kids without beds, sleeping on the floor or in unsafe conditions.
