Norris Penrose Legacy Foundation

What

The Norris Penrose Legacy Foundation was established in 2021 to manage the Norris Penrose Event Center, home of the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo. Adjacent to Bear Creek Open Space, we offer 67 acres of unique indoor and outdoor event space, providing a true Colorado experience. We want to share this great place with local community non-profit partners by providing event space for free! The support of donors will help cover operational costs for these events.

Why

Fundraising events cost money and limit community impact. We want to eliminate this cost by donating our event space! While there are other venues supporting the region, we have unique indoor and outdoor space, as well as a stadium and a large parking lot. We are also adjacent to acres of open space. From athletic events and food drives to board meetings and group celebrations, our space is perfect for any event.

Needs

We are seeking financial contributions to support daily operations. Whether donating or renting the space, we must still maintain the space and the staff necessary to support these events.

1000 families per month benefit from the Mt. Carmel food drive that is held for free at the NPEC.

“Our host, Norris Penrose Event Center, graciously opened their Indoor Event Center to us this past week so that 236 COS area dogs and cats could be part of the ever-growing number of pets to receive life-altering spay and neuter surgery.” — Kristin Melissa Des Marais, Bergen Spay and Neuter Alliance
