Rooted in the values of kindness, dignity, and social justice, LFSRM strengthens communities by providing support, guidance, and resource coordination to individuals and families throughout pikes peak region. From at risk families needing education, to children needing foster care and adoption services, to newly arrived refugees, LFSRM offers services that provide hope and healing to our clients.
Our goal is to work with people in our community who need support to thrive. From children needing a safe place to land, to families trying to keep it together, to new arrivals, we walk alongside offering hope and healing. In Colorado Springs we have provided family support services for over 45 and we are the only organization in Colorado Springs to resettle refugees.
We are always looking for families willing to open their doors and hearts to foster youth and for volunteers for our cultural mentorship teams for refugees.
Teens in foster care are among the most vulnerable youth in our community. LFSRM helps teens and their foster families with their transition to independence.
