Leadership Pikes Peak

What

Leadership Pikes Peak cultivates community trustees through delivery of five core Community Leadership Programs. Participants learn about themselves and the community, becoming empowered to make a direct impact through leadership and service. Since 1976, LPP has graduated over 2500 individuals who serve in leadership roles throughout the Pikes Peak Region.

Why

The role of engaged citizens is central to democracy. Leadership Pikes Peak believes that all individuals have the capacity for leadership and service. Our programs meet individuals where they are, combining leadership development with curriculum focused on the issues, opportunities, and challenges facing the Colorado Springs community. LPP graduates go on to fill volunteer leadership roles throughout our community.

Needs

We are seeking financial support for operating expenses such as computers, software, and other overhead not supported by program tuition. We also seek support for program scholarships.

“LPP’s focus on community issues, deep personal exploration, and building relationships has benefited me greatly personally and professionally. The connections I built with classmates have created a network that I value and continue to call on today. LPP’s work is our community’s work!” — LPP Signature Class of 2021
