Homeward Pikes Peak creates opportunities for individuals and families to restore dignity through treatment and recovery programs, mental health services, and providing housing first. We do this through sober living/transitional housing, permanent supportive housing, a residential treatment center, and outpatient clinical programs. All of our programs offer case management to set our clients up for success.
At Homeward Pikes Peak, we believe in empowering individuals toward self-sufficiency. We are the only organization in the city that focuses on treatment and housing support simultaneously. We directly impact the community through the provision of clinical resources, housing vouchers, & case management to ensure the success of our clients. In 2020, we served more than 800 individuals, families, and Veterans.
Our needs include: Volunteers to mentor/speak to our sober home clients about life experiences. In-kind contributions of small household furniture, kitchen items. NEW bedding/pillows, cleaning supplies.
More than 68% of chronically homeless persons suffer from mental illness and addiction. Providing stable housing significantly increases the chances for self-sufficiency.
“When I learned I had housing through Homeward Pikes Peak, I cried harder than I had during my 2-years of homelessness. The support I have received and the security of having a home has helped my healing.” — Sunshine
