HBA Cares is the philanthropic arm of the Housing & Building Association. Our mission is to partner with other nonprofits in support of accessible and transitional housing. HBA Cares has a portfolio of past projects including Dream Centers and Family Promise. Our current flagship project is construction of the Ingram Guest House at St. Francis, a respite home for patients and their families undergoing treatment.
HBA Cares has a direct positive impact among some of the city’s most vulnerable; those experiencing housing instability. Engaging an extensive pool of construction industry resources, HBA Cares is able to make partner nonprofit’s construction goals and needs more financially attainable.
We need funding to continue to accept and fulfill the asks received. A greater pool of funding allows the organization to accept a broader range of projects, supporting more individuals in the community.
The Woody & Millie Ingram Guest House has 25 suites, letting individuals or families undergoing treatment or with a baby in NICU to stay the night near the hospital.
“I have nothing but praise for the HBA Cares program. Through collaboration with HBA Cares, Homeward Pikes Peak has been able to complete projects that serve families and individuals who are striving to achieve recovery and housing stability.” — Beth Roalstad
