Family Promise of Colorado Springs provides services, resources and shelter to families experiencing homelessness. Through a holistic, innovative approach, shelter staff provides guests with the necessary support to lift families to reach safe stable housing and a brighter future for themselves and their children. Guests engage in case management, goal setting, and life skills to prepare them on their path to success!
As rental prices continue to rise, more families are finding themselves without adequate housing. The Interfaith Hospitality Network family shelter allows us to meet our families where they are at and connect them to the community, while providing temporary shelter. We provide wrap around services with partnering agencies and community members in Colorado Spring to help families find long-term housing stability.
We are in need of volunteers at the office and for special events and have an ongoing need for diapers, wipes, toiletries, and hygiene supplies for all ages, genders, races, and textures.
Children experiencing housing instability may be 9x more likely than their non-homeless peers to repeat a grade and 5x more likely to be homeless as adults.
“I just wanted to let you know this girl starts college soon! This program has shown me so much about myself and I couldn't be where I am without the support of Family Promise. THANK YOU 😊” — 2021 Family Promise Graduate with 4 Kids
