CSTRC harnesses the power of the horse as a path to change lives and show our riders with different challenges how to grow and discover the strengths they were not aware of. Through our equine-assisted therapies, we improve the quality of each life physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Have you ever witnessed a child’s transformation in front of your eyes? We have, many times over. We see a child in a wheelchair gain leg strength and balance, we see a child drop their crutches and ride with the freedom and joy that being on their trusted therapy horse gives them. Through our individual instruction, they gain self-confidence, cognitive and physical stability, and a sense of “I did it”. They matter!

“It is a joy and a blessing for my son to come to CSTRC for his health issues. So much good has come from his therapy here. It has helped with his speaking and balance issues and his favorite thing to do is be here with the horses.” — Jane Vlatch-mother of a special needs riders at CSTRC
