Banning Lewis Academy is a K-12 public charter school providing excellent programming for staff and students, with focus on relationships, rigorous applied academics, and unique experiences. We want our students to be healthy, lifelong learners that make positive contributions to our future, global society. We focus on character development, future planning, and quality extra curricular and athletics programs!
We believe that any student can be whoever they want to be, regardless of where they were born. We want to impact and empower all students to become who they desire to be. We want to give back to the greater community in Colorado Springs through offering parent university nights where parents can learn about teen mental health, digital citizenship and much more.
BLA serves over 1,700 families that attend from myriad backgrounds and we work to grow EVERY STUDENT EVERY DAY! 40% of our population is military affiliated.
