Paws N Hooves Rescue is an all-volunteer rescue that focuses on at-risk dogs. We provide vet care for rehabilitation, training, and love to make our animals adoptable to a fur-ever home. We are dedicated to helping animals that are abused, abandoned, neglected, or no longer wanted by their current owners. While they are at a volunteer, foster home, we provide care and training while finding a suitable, permanent home.
For over 20 years we have served the Pikes Peak region rehabilitating and finding homes for thousands of animals. Our rescue teams respond at all hours to assist in lost and found, during community emergencies, disasters, or to assist law enforcement to protect animals that we love. We provide outreach to keep animals in their loving home, providing food and when able, vet bills. We believe in a no-kill philosophy.
We are looking for donations to purchase sanctuary land. We also need puppy and adult dog food and dog toys, like Kongs, etc. We are also looking for volunteers to cover a variety of tasks.
Did you know that animals can help alleviate some of the struggles of anxiety & depression?
“We adopted Trent when Paws N Hooves saved him from a shelter euthanasia list. I have MS and had just lost my service animal. He gives me a reason to get out of bed every day.” — Rachaelnike Jacobs, adopter
